Day 4: WEEEEEEE!!!!!!

Today was a laid back/ easy day. However there were some of the best roads. We went down one that literally said “ In-navigable for Trucks, trailers, any sort of vehicle you care about, etc. 30% grade.” [paraphrased]  There were a lot of “weeeeee”s as we dipped over hills and whipped around the bends. We saw indescribable natural beauty in the form of rock formations, gorges, and waterfalls.  Today's challenge was a picture challenge in which we were given 20 pieces of pictures and then we had to go take a picture with our cameras that completed the image. Some were quite simple (once we figured out what the picture was of) like a big fish statue and others were quite a challenge like a picture of a window and shutters on a house.

We stopped at a waterfall today that had a natural swimming pool at the top of the falls. It wasw truly amazing. We ended our trip at the Talladega Motorsports Hall of Fame Museum. There we took a bus tour of the track and toured the museum where we saw a number of the greats, heard about track records, and ogled the fast cars. The car fared pretty well today, we had some trouble with the ABS which we know was linked to our fix of the rear breaks. A simple removal of a fuse and we were good to go. I'm kinda sad that tomorrow is our last day of the BABE, but I'm very excited about getting to New Orleans.
